Traffic Collision on 7th Standard Rd / Golden State Hwy Leaves Vehicle Overturned
Bakersfield, CA – A traffic collision occurred on October 22, 2025, at approximately 7:14 PM at the intersection of 7th Standard Rd and Golden State Hwy.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident involved a black Nissan Versa that collided with a fence after coming off the on-ramp for Interstate 99. The vehicle reportedly overturned several times before coming to rest on its wheels.
Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported in the incident. The driver was able to exit the vehicle unaided. Emergency response units arrived on the scene shortly after the accident was reported. Initial assessments indicated that the vehicle was positioned between the freeway and a nearby building.
As a precautionary measure, towing services were requested to remove the overturned vehicle. Traffic in the area was temporarily disrupted as emergency crews worked; however, all lanes were reopened shortly after the scene was cleared.
